Spartan Reader Short List

.

Found this website thought it was appealing, especially how they made used "Sonic Animation" video. I used a like a tingling description that makes you exceptionally curious about what is actually going on during the video. In addition this video kind of reminded me of a video that would have been on MTV or VH1back in its earlier days because of the "Sonic Animation" which brought me back to a time when I was younger and watch these Sonic Animation videos wonder where I could find these vids.

Another video put this was a little different from the first one, is The Art of Pho these is more of show, it numerous episodes, and within these episodes is a character by the name of PHO.Also, this video gives you a neat way to interact with Pho, which keeps your attention on whats going to happen next. Plus, I saw the unique artwork and the great detail that was involved which really caught my eye.

Normal vs. Non-normal!!l (I guess)
Idk these design seem sort of extravagant and useless but at the same time that's exactly what they are for, which makes them interesting. What if these designs today were the so so called " normal designs" we would know that these designs are abnormal or is abnormal because its not the normal designs.

Dead Poets Society

In the opening scene from 1989 film Dead Poets Society Peter Weir’s, establishes a sense of a keen significance with the formality of the vicinity which creates a barricade type of seriousness among all of the people, shows how the new steps in someone life will lead to improved ones. The old architecture communicates the formality of the buildings as well as illustrates how aged the building, which exemplify the tradition of the school. The formality also speaks towards the way the head master spoke, with great pronunciation which again showed how serious this was for the students. The holding of the four principles; Traditions, Honor, Excellence, and Discipline, conveys to the incoming students how significant it is at the school. And when he explains each one it allowed the students to understand each and every one. Honor; dignity and the fulfillment of duty, Tradition; the love of school, country, and family, Discipline; respect for parents, teachers and headmaster, and Excellence the result of hard work; the key to all success.

The Postcard Killers by James Patterson & Liza Marklund post#2

In the book "The Postcard Killers" the two authors James Patterson and Liza Marklund exercise a unique style of writing, which allows the reader attention to be grabbed like no other.  These two immense authors that have united their talents together will take the genre of mystery by storm.  James Patterson, #1 New York Times bestselling author and Liza Marklund, #1 bestselling author in Sweden has thought to created one of the scariest vacation thrillers…ever!!!!. In order for them to do this, it must have been the style of their writing.
This distinctive style of writing draws the mind of any reader that enjoys a little thriller here and there sometime. The use of presenting both sides of the story to the reader is very matchless in its self.  When illustrating the two killers, Mac and Sylvia, in addition the side of “Sherlock Homes” Jacob Kanon and Dessie Larsson, it again draws the attention of the reader. This makes them have to question “How come they cannot find these two killers?” However, it also makes the reader wonder “How superb can the two people that killer for the enjoyment of it be?” These questions frequently pop up through-out of the book, which makes the book itself spectacular. In addition to that, by having two separate adventures , the reader is now able to see and know what happens next but not necessarily how it happens, until Jacob and Dessie show up, which makes the reader want to read more and more. Because as a reader what do you want to know? Well what happens next and how it happens and why it happens, which is the point where I am at in “The Postcard Killers”
So far, this book has been a very effortless read, which may be because of the short chapter, which makes the reader feel that you are reading a great deal more than what you would normally read. And sometimes makes you want to read even more.

"THE POSTCARD KILLER" BY JAMES PATTERSON & LIZA MARKLUND

In the "Postcard Killers" The two authors’ imaginative use of the plot so far into book has got me pin-point, bulls-eye, x marks the spot into it. It begins with a character by the name of Jacob Kanon, a homicide detective in Manhattan, New York City. He has been following these supposedly serial killers that have been traveling from city to city country to country slaughtering couples and so far these couples have been tourist of these country's which are mainly been in Europe although that may only be a coincidence...too early to really say.

On the other hand I thought to myself why is this detective from the states actually being concerned about what’s going on around Europe? Does this influence him in any-way? Is there a connection between him and the serial killers (postcard killers)? In addition to that when I had examine "he had to be careful not to get involved in the work done by the authorities in other countries."That could have diplomatic consequences and, even worse, could lead to his expulsion from the country." It lead to me to reflect and aim to understand, why is this man taking this vast risk to lose his job and perhaps go to jail and sort of disorder his career for the future, on this one case that the Europeans can almost certainly handle on their own.

Well what had later answered my questions was when he took the initiative to dash out to Europe where he meets a young-unknown reporter that had been receiving these postcards from the serial killers. And on these postcards would reveal the death of a couple that had passed/meet the wrong person the night before. And when Jacob Kanon had track/found out where she live and then converse with the reporter she thought of him as this old, dirty, no-showering American detective that she to speculate why is was he so infatuated with this case. Then she realizes that "he saw the Polaroid picture in front of his eyes, the man's and women's hands, the beautiful fingers that were almost touching. The blood that had run down their arms and gathered around the fingernails." "Love you, Dad see you at New Years!"  This explain exactly why he is so passionate with this case because there is a connection....which is that his daughter was one of the couples that were murdered while in Europe...sad!!!

I mean let’s be honest here, who would not going after the people that has caused someone that once was in your life and to some people that was there life...there life is involved around there children. So, so far in this book I can honestly say it’s about REVENGE!!!!! Jacob Kanon goal right now is to make himself feel better which is to find out who are the "Postcard Killers"

The Reading Life...If There Is Any?!

What reading life?!
If there were a way for me to enlighten my reading life, it would not be tough at all or would it? I believe that my reading life can be shown on a scale of 0 to 10 with 0 being none and 10 being "oh I read all the time." My reading life would be a pleasant 0. However what do people consider a reading life? In your reading life, does it constantly have to be a person in a room reading a book they picked out at the library or a book that someone picked out for them? In your reading life does it always have to be a book that has about 300 pages or more? In your reading life does it even have to be a book? Could reading what’s in a magazine for about 1 minute be considered a part of your reading life. Is reading what’s on the board at school to locate the homework for the night, going up and down through Twitter to see what people are doing/ trending in this world or even checking your Facebook and reading people statuses all day long are a portion of your reading life. By reading the newspaper or just reading people shirts such as "Don't Sweat My Swag" or "Is That All You Got?" Nike shirts are a part of someone’s reading life? If so wouldn't a lot of people have some type of reading life? And if this is the case my personal reading life is not actually a 0 but more like a 10 because everyday people read and these people read throughout the whole entire day. And by them reading it allows them to understand what is going on throughout on world. In addition to that it allow people to see and learn concerning new things each and every day. All in all, I guess this means that everyone has some type of reading life, whether you read a 300pg plus book or you’re just reading to help to understand/ catch-up on what is going on in the world today we all have a reading life.
