"THE POSTCARD KILLER" BY JAMES PATTERSON & LIZA MARKLUND

In the "Postcard Killers" The two authors’ imaginative use of the plot so far into book has got me pin-point, bulls-eye, x marks the spot into it. It begins with a character by the name of Jacob Kanon, a homicide detective in Manhattan, New York City. He has been following these supposedly serial killers that have been traveling from city to city country to country slaughtering couples and so far these couples have been tourist of these country's which are mainly been in Europe although that may only be a coincidence...too early to really say.

On the other hand I thought to myself why is this detective from the states actually being concerned about what’s going on around Europe? Does this influence him in any-way? Is there a connection between him and the serial killers (postcard killers)? In addition to that when I had examine "he had to be careful not to get involved in the work done by the authorities in other countries."That could have diplomatic consequences and, even worse, could lead to his expulsion from the country." It lead to me to reflect and aim to understand, why is this man taking this vast risk to lose his job and perhaps go to jail and sort of disorder his career for the future, on this one case that the Europeans can almost certainly handle on their own.

Well what had later answered my questions was when he took the initiative to dash out to Europe where he meets a young-unknown reporter that had been receiving these postcards from the serial killers. And on these postcards would reveal the death of a couple that had passed/meet the wrong person the night before. And when Jacob Kanon had track/found out where she live and then converse with the reporter she thought of him as this old, dirty, no-showering American detective that she to speculate why is was he so infatuated with this case. Then she realizes that "he saw the Polaroid picture in front of his eyes, the man's and women's hands, the beautiful fingers that were almost touching. The blood that had run down their arms and gathered around the fingernails." "Love you, Dad see you at New Years!"  This explain exactly why he is so passionate with this case because there is a connection....which is that his daughter was one of the couples that were murdered while in Europe...sad!!!

I mean let’s be honest here, who would not going after the people that has caused someone that once was in your life and to some people that was there life...there life is involved around there children. So, so far in this book I can honestly say it’s about REVENGE!!!!! Jacob Kanon goal right now is to make himself feel better which is to find out who are the "Postcard Killers"
